The front cover features a baby giraffe and his momma, but inside you find lots of other animals and parent. Steve Whitlow is the artist behind the illustration and they are... well, just sweet. The author, Hannah Hall, fill the inside with rhyming prose that reminds children of God's love for them.
Books, of course, are meant to read. Often. And that's why I love books so much. This book will be used for years as part of a bedtime ritual.
And that's the other reason I think this makes "God Bless You and Good Night" such a perfect gift idea. It's not a one-time-put-away-on-a-shelf memento. It's meant to be used. And isn't that what God would want?
